Aaron Hackett Nature experience: windy
I just remembered that I had an interesting experience with nature a couple of nights ago. It was very warm and windy out and I was headed to write a paper that was due the next day that I really didn’t feel like spending my precious time on. I was entering the courtyard in between the DSU and the library when the wind picked up immensely and stopped me in my tracks. I played around with the idea that God was having fun with my negative thoughts and me. I perceived the moment as God telling me not to go to the library but stand still in this wind and feel its warmth, his warmth. The wind was so strong that I could lean into it and it would balance me. This semi-solidity along with the warm encompassing my whole body gave me the thought of God giving me a nice warm hug. It was a nice escape from the negativity that I had been experiencing and I went into the library with a brighter approach to the paper.
