Aaron Hackett topic of Choice 3: Spiritual path

I believe that this class has been a good addition to my journey of life. It seems to fit in very well especially to the spiritual path that I have been on. I just took notice of this path these past couple of years and I have become increasingly aware of it sense then. I know that it is authentic because I did not look for it, it just happened. A solid base for it was formed while I was a child. My mother took me to a Unitarian church every Sunday until she gave me the option of not going. The church had taught me was that there are many religions and you will find your own path through them. This notion, combined with the fact that I didn’t think that I was getting anything out of the experience and saw it as just another thing keeping me from sleeping in on Sunday, allowed me to rationalize no longer attending. It was not until I had a sacred experience my senior year of high school that I got back on the spiritual track. Since then I have read, talked about, and experienced many things that have pushed me further spiritually and I am aware of their implications. This class has added an extra aspect of spirituality that I deem crucial to my own spirituality, nature’s involvement. I have learned many things from this class and look forward to learning many more things while applying my lessons.
