Aaron Thompson- Nature

A few weekends ago i went to my dads house in Surry county so that i could hunt. I woke up before daylight and drove to where my treestand was. I walked through the dark and climbed up into my stand. I sat for a little while until it started to get light. The sun came up over the horizon and slowly lit the area with sunlight. There was fog that seemed to just sit on the ground like a blanket. Then i looked down the powerline i was hunting on and saw a deer come out. She fed in the powerline along with two fawns. I sat and watched them feed for nearly twenty minutes before they crossed the powerline and reentered the woods. At this point in time i felt that i was connected to nature and i was one with the deer.
