Aaron Thompson-Personal Choice4

Before this class my friends and i wanted to hike some of the Appalachain trail over the summer, but We never got around to hiking the trail. This was a result of conflicting work schedules and not putting enough effort into going. Throughout the semester Dr. Redick has talked about hiking the trail and has showed us multiple videos and pictures from the appalachain trail. He related hiking the trail to ideas we learned in class such as communitas and liminality. By listening to stories that he has told and watching videos of the appalachain trial it has given me an increased interest in hiking the trail, and i cannot wait to do it.
