Chelsea Huber - Communitas

Image and Pilgrimage in Christian Culture

I have been thinking a lot about communitas, the spontaneous communities that spring up without structure when a new situation arises. I believe that these versions of communities are vital to enjoying life. I never liked the idea of traveling with people until I went to Spain. There I realized that it can be not only lonely to travel alone, but also you can miss a lot of experiences. Other people give balance and interesting variables to life. The expression 'two heads are better than one' is especially true when it comes to traveling and surviving. Someone else can offer ideas and help to fine-tune your own ideas.
