Kelly Hayes, Sacred Place

What defines a sacred place? The answer to this question is endless and never correct. A sacred place is evaluated differently by different people and correlates with the spiritual experences an individual or a group may had with that particular place. Many cultural groups perform rituals at places they consider sacred or the location plays some particular role in their cultures history. A sacred place may also have nothing at all to do with human experience and it may have been chosen by a higher source of power as a spiritual location. God and his wisdom may choose any particular location to be sacred and allow that place to holds sacred powers. These mythical places in the world are discovered yet mysterious and will never be completely understood by humans.
