Chris Estes Required Readings #6
Two forms of perception of time are recognized in the book of Lane Landscapes and the Sacred. They are known by Chronos and Kairos. Kairos is described as not being able to repeat the movement when big significant events are brought together in the life of people or someone individually. Chronos is however known for repetitiveness. Every single second or minute or hour is exactly equal to the next portion of time. Like in the world, it is measured for a day. We also hit on the fact that the experiences that we tend to remember and not forget are the ones that Kairos deals with. This happens because there is some aspect or something that creates the separation from the ordinary life to the extraordinary things that happen.
