Daniel Blakely Student Choice 2
In writing my final paper I began to understand more and more about the constituents of a particular place playing a large role in the sacred experience. Each part of the landscape has its own role, and together it creates an experience worth having. When the constituents stand alone, then the individual is not entering into the place, but instead simply treading through. The concept of treading through the sacred place without witnessing the sacred experience is truly mind blowing in the sense that there is a possibility for a sacred experience literally every second of every day. Walking from my car to my door, I could have a sacred experience. Walking from class to class, I could have such an experience. It is amazing to think that literally at any moment the place can deem it necessary and appropriate to share the experience and then it does.
