Douglas Pelenberg: Outside Reading

I read Into the Wild years ago. This was a story about a man named Christopher McCandless who spontaneously decides to journey into the Alaskan wilderness. He did not survive for long alone in the Alaskan environment. This book looks at the life of Chris McCandless and the mindset he held which led him into the wild. I was actually required to read this book upon acceptance to CNU. I think it would be good reading to add to this course.
