Nate Morris - Nolan Trail (2) [Natural Setting]

Walking, or running along the water, watching the sun glisten on its placid surface as a cool breeze rustles through the trees epitomizes the experiences one encounters while on the trail. The shade from the canopy provides shelter, the breeze off the water, relief, and the sand beneath the feet, comfort for the trail goers as they embark down the path to take part in this journey. This path that was built for man is still home to creatures of all sorts, solidifying its necessity as a natural place, and adding to its overall importance in the natural world.
The Noland Trail is a shining light, a beacon, in a city that endured copious amounts of despair and anguish. It offers many the opportunity to experience and appreciate the beauty of nature right in their own backyard. It allows all individuals to come and be one, to put aside their differences, and to be equals as they embark on the trail, whatever their reasoning may be. The Nolan Trail is a place to unwind, a place to explore, and a place to cherish. For many, it is beautiful, but for many more, it is sacred.
