Aaron Hackett topic of Choice 2: Thanksgiving
Over the break I thought about the sacred energy exchange that was presented in the class before I had corn pudding on thanksgiving and couldn’t help but to think about the fact that I was eating corn embryos. It was disturbing to me because the link to eating human embryos inevitably popped into my head. However, the pudding was too good to not indulge in further. Also, it would be fruitless to harp on the subject and not eat the corn because, like we heard in class, in order for me to live something has to die. There is no way that I can survive on anything that wasn’t at one point alive. Instead, I tried to be thankful that it was dieing for me. What better time to do this than on thanksgiving?
