Aaron Thompson- Landscapes of Sacred 2
When I read that "place as Chora carries its own energy its own energy and power, summoning its participants to a common dance, to the "choreography" most appropriate to their life together"(P. 39), i had no clue what that meant. I read it a few times and was still somewhat confused. A couple classes later Dr. Redick answered my question in his lecture by saying that Chora is a place where there is an energizing force, suggestive to the imagination, drawing intimate connections to everything else in our lives. This explanation by Dr. Redick gave me a better understanding of the definition of chora than the book could provide me with.
