Aaron Thompson- Landscapes of sacred 3
Lane writes "our embodied presence demands that we cannot know the world without also being actively engaged in it (p 53)." I had never thought about this before reading this book, but it is absolutely correct. I beleive that to know about something you must interact with it, and without interacting with something you can never truely know about it. This is exactly what Lane is saying in his statement.
