Elizabeth Robertson: Free Topic #4-A Scary Occurence

I am not the smartest person, and the other day over Thanksgiving break, I got myself and my friend into a little trouble. We went to Walmart late one night to get a movie from Redbox (we got The Ugly Truth), and as we were walking across the parking lot, some guy almost killed her! I got kinda mad, it was my best friend after all. So I yelled something jokingly at him as he drove past, nothing really mean, but I didn't realize that his window was down. Well, we were walking, not yet to the building, and all of a sudden I saw his brakes lights go on, and then saw his car door open. He got out and literally screamed "WHAT?!?!?" at us. And then he started following us. We are just two innocent girls, so we started a brisk walk towards the door. But he kept following, and my heart rate was going up up and up. When we got inside the store, we ran around the corner and tried to hide. I realized then how strange people are. I mean, who cares if someone yells something at you? Are you really going to do something about it? It was innocent but this guy got so mad I was afraid for my safety. It makes me question the kind of world we live in, and what it is that make people so mad. I wondered what was going on in his life that made him want to hurt me and my friend. I guess I'll never know, but I won't be yelling at scary men any more. Bad idea.
