Natalie Gilbert: Experience in Natural Setting
Although I missed the experience of going with the class to the Noland Trail I did walk it on my own. I actually run the trail quite often, but without the music of my iPod and constant fast paced motion carrying me along, there was much more time for reflection and observation. It was amazing how the little things in life are lost to the noise and mess of life around us. I truly believe the broad and hard to define term nature, no matter where its locale can be considered as an escape from reality. It is a definite element that helps to maintain cosmos in this always chaotic world. It was a great experience, time of reflection, and method of relaxation.
