Crystal Kernan #12 Personal Choice
During the course of this semester, I have thoroughly enjoyed this class and the many visual images we were able to learn through. From our speaker, Zoltan, to the numerous video blogs and pictures, it was pleasurable to see the aspects of the class in visual form. I will always remember Zoltan's motto, "no pain, no glory." It was touching to hear his story about the trails and understand his full circle experience. One of my favorite video blogs we saw was the one about one hikers personal experiences all along the Appalachian Trail. It was so cool to see him go all the way from Georgia to Maine, even through all of the hardships. Unfortunately for him 2003 was one of the rainiest years for the eastern coast. It seemed like it rained the whole time he was on the trail. This video had beautiful music that played along with it and illustrated his journey through each state. It was interesting to see them on the trail in Virginia. My favorite quote from that video was, "money can't buy what this is worth." It was like his experience was unforgettable and nothing else could top it.
