Joseph Rivera: Nolan Trail

Another experience of natural setting I would like to share was when I went to go visit the Nolan Trail. On this trail there were many things to experience. One thing was the different plant life that took most of my attention. The thing that grabbed me the most was to see the brightly colored berries found along the trail. Most of the ones I came across were of a purple color. One type of berry actually ended up being a very vibrant dye that stained my hands. Another thing that grabbed my attention was that there were trees that had branches missing from both natural causes and man made causes. It was interesting to see the contrast between these two events. It was also interesting to try to explain the interesting sites in the wilderness that were puzzling to at first glance. For example there was a tree that looked as if it was growing straight into the water. After talking a closer look you could determine that the land beneath the tree gave away beneath it and cause it to fall into the river.
