Dwain Harrison - ULLC 223
This ULLC 223 class has been very intriguing to say the least. It has expanded my mind to a whole world of thought that I have never seen or heard before. I thought Lane's book was excellent. His terminology and jargon was a little to complex for me, but his ideas and fundamental concepts were on the money. This class has really made me think about the significance of place. Before this class, I would have never even thought about such things as Topos and Chora. I would have just continued to think about everything on a purely surface level and would have not delved into the other things that something might have. This class has also sparked a new interest in me. Before I took this class, I had talked to a kid who had taken this class and said that Professor Redick was awesome and that he had went on an Appalachian Trail Hike following the conclusion of the class. When he told me this, I thought,"hiking the Appalachian trial, thanks, but no thanks". Now, I am actually considring taking maybe a cuple day hike on the trail when I get closer to graduating.
