Dwain Harrison- Moonbow

A couple of nights ago if you had a chance ot look up in the sky you could see a colorful ring that was positioned around the moon. Many people found this to be an amazing site because my facebook news feed was blowing up with status updates about this site. One thing however, is that I was not really able to see it since we are located in newport news and surrounded by a lot of light posts. This definitely got me thinking about nature. If I were in the middle of the woods that night, I would have been able to see this site much more clearly. I think that this offers a new insight into the sacredness of nature vs. city life. In nature, the stars and moons illuminate so much brighter than they do in the city. They also look as something that can be grasped and don't seem thousands of light years away.
