Dwain Harrison- Into the WIld
In the book, "Into the Wild", we follow the story of a young man who seemingly had a bright future but then gives up his personal possession in order to enter the wild. He decided to trek from where he was located to Alaska. WHile in Alaska, he survived for 112 days without anything other than what nature provided. This example of his 112 days of survival can be used to prove God's existence. Many evolutionist theory that the earth was formed by some big bang that occurred in space. However, with the big bang, how do we have so many things created on earth that can support humans. Processed food is not essential to our survival. We can easily live off of what God has provided on this earth already. McCandles, even though he survived for just 112 days, shows us that anyone could pretty much do it. THink about this, what is the extent of McCandles familiarity with nature. It couldn't have been more than a few years with boy scouts and maybe a couple of books. Whatever his knowledge background on Wilderness survival was, it is still an example of God's existence.
