Crystal Kernan #7 Outside Reading

Mt. Shasta: California's Mystic Mountain, by Emilie Frank, was an interesting read and helped me confirm my research topic. She practically made this majestic mountain come alive with the mysticism, legends and lore. My favorite part of this book was the interviews with unusual and psychic persons who have had transcendental experiences on Mt. Shasta. Frank was also successful in giving a complete account of the 1987 Harmonic Convergence, which led to an occult happening bringing even more national media attention to the slopes of Mt. Shasta. I enjoyed this book because of its spiritual inspiration and her entertaining approach in writing. It is honestly the most complete book written on the mysteries of Mt. Shasta.
