Joseph Rivera: Ice
On personal experience of natural setting that really stick out in my head is while traveling in Europe my family and I went into an expansive ice cavern in the mountains of Austria. In this cavern were huge sculptures of ice that were creating over hundreds of years of erosion. It was incredible to see the beauty nature creates even in the deepest and coldest places on earth. It was also funny to see people gives names to certain ice sculptures because of there similar appearance to other know things, for example one sculpture was called an elephant. I think this ultimately took away from the natural beauty of the sculpture. Another cool site was that further into the cave there was an expansive flat sheet of ice that went down as far as the eye could see that was very cool to see.
