Elizabeth Robertson: ephemeral and community
In class we talked about the ephemeral, which means that a place is constantly changing. We also talked about how a healthy community is not merely comprised of just humans, but of families and tribes of non-human creatures. The example we talked about in class was of the pillow with many microscopic organisms that look like little bugs. The point was that they are like a part of us and our community which is our body, because we sleep on them. Therefore, there are many small components to a community that makes it what it is.
