Gianandrea Heyer: Thurner's 3 stages

As we have seen in class, Thurner describes three stages. These are separation, liminality and reaggregation. Separation usually happens at the beginning of a trail. When the movie of the camino the santiago starts, nobody really know anybody, and there is a sensation within the group that people are separed from eachother. Liminality happens when you are in between stages (limin= treshold). When the group starts going up the mountains and to get away from the business of the city, they get into the liminality stage. The reaggregation stage takes place toward the end of the camino the Santiago, when everybody starts to become friends, because the end is approaching, and happiness is rising.
